Motivated by its concern for the environment, Balsan is implementing internal measures by means of an Environmental Management System (E.M.S.) involving all of the employees in the company. Several working groups have been set up with the objective of continuous improvement in the following areas, among others: reducing water consumption, reducing waste and reducing energy consumed in processing, with a view to obtaining ISO 14001 certification in2010.
